Allergies - Ayurveda Treatment




Allergy refers to an exaggerated reaction by our immune system in response to bodily contact with certain foreign substances. These foreign substances are usually harmless. But in a person whose body is prone to allergies, these foreign substances are recognized by the body and part of the immune system is activated. Allergy-producing substances are known as "allergens." Examples include pollens, dust mites, mold, dander and certain foods.
Any substance, whatever its origin, is an allergen as possible. Allergens cause the production of immunoglobulin E (IgE), an antibody that we all have in small amounts. People with allergies, however, produce abnormal amounts IgE. Normally, this antibody is important in protecting us against parasites, but not from other allergens.
According to Ayurveda, foods are just strangers when we ingest. These foreigners are treated by Agni (fire) of the organism to be transformed into compatible food for the body. When agni is not working properly, the toxins and get the accumulation of toxins reduces the body's immunity and leads to diseases related to immunity. Allergies occur when the immune system hypersensitivity reaction to a substance common or unusual.
Allergy word is derived from the Greek word "allos", meaning different or changed, and "ergos" meaning work or action. People prone to allergies are said to be allergic or atopic. Although allergies can develop at any age, the risk of development is genetic. It is linked to those of a family history of allergy. Ayurvedic medicine also found that the removal of allergens from the body will help relieve the symptoms associated with chronic fatigue syndrome. If a person suffers from allergies all year, he / she might want to consider visiting an Ayurvedic practitioner. Ayurvedic medicine works on increasing the sensitivity and strength of the immunity of the respiratory system nervine.
According to Ayurvedic medicine under the supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner, could be used by a person who is prone to allergies:
Medicated oil specially prepared for Nasya 'Anu tail "is very effective.
-For Vata and Kapha - Trikatu, basil, clove, camphor, and cilantro can be used.
-To facilitate the increase Kapha, Guduchi tablets can be taken with basil, clove and camphor.
-For skin allergies - Capsule neem, neem oil, Khadiraristam, Nimbasavam, Haridrakhandam, Agasthya rasayan.
-For allergies of the respiratory system - Agasthya rasayan, Nimbarajanyadi compressed Spetilin tablet, syrup Septilin, Kanchanar Guggulu, Anu oil.
For healthy-resistance to all airborne allergens - Agasthya rasayan, Nimbarajanyadi compressed Spetilin tablet, syrup Septilin, Kanchanar Guggulu, Anu oil Cutis oil (Vasu Pharma) capsules Haridra (Himalaya).
- Anti-allergy herbs include: turmeric, Picrorhiza kurroa, Tinospora Cordifolia and Triphala.
